Today was one of those days at Place of Hope that made all our hearts so very full. Our elders organized an appreciation ceremony for us. 81 of our heart family members expressed what this program means to them.
We have many different communities and barrios in Cotacachi, some of our elders from these communities’ made speeches and made us all feel so loved. There were many pictures and videos taken. Look for some of the videos in the comments section (we can’t post both photos and video together).
Many of the elders gifted various items of food. There was a line of about 20 people to give our president their offerings. So many hugs and happy tears today.
We will be having our Christmas/Navidad festivities on Tuesday, December 23rd. A huge thank you goes to all that donated to reach our goal and make this yet another special year. Your generosity is so very appreciated by everyone and we wish you all a wonderful holiday season and a most prosperous New Year!!
