Good day everyone!! Today we served 89 meals!! Our average for this week has gone up closer to 400 meals. In the coming weeks, until Christmas, the numbers will get even higher. We always see an increase this time of year but these numbers are a bit greater than normal. As always, everyone gets a meal and we do our best to plan ahead. Example, we usually buy 3 large chickens for Friday’s meal but we bought 5 for this week, up from 4 the week before. Thank you to all our donors who help us to keep our doors open and to our volunteers for their continued time & effort in serving the meals. We could not do this without all of you 🥰
We would like to thank everyone who helped to sponsor backpacks🎒for our elders so far. You can use the donation link below to give just $5 (that is half the cost) for a backpack. For most of our elders this will be their only gift for Christmas. Thank you in advance for making their holiday a bit brighter.
In other news: The mural created by Oscar Meir has been completed. He finished this past Saturday.
Thank you so much for this beautiful artwork ❤️We will post his video when we can.
