Benefactor Matches Donations

Friends of Ecuador Project Hope

I have a benefactor who will match dollar for dollar to complete the school. Any amount that you can donate will be doubled – what a wonderful gift to complete the Agualongo school.

We still need to finish the lunch room, (see Photo) tables and benches, paint for the exterior of the school, playground equipment. The parents will do some of the work but we need funds for the supplies.

You can make a donation through PayPal on my website (below) or through my Naples, FL address Ecuador Project Hope: 2316 Pine Ridge Rd. #302 Naples, FL 34109.

Checks should be made payable to: Ecuador Project Hope.

Many of you have made donations in the past and it is deeply appreciated by the Indigenous parents to help their young children. The Indigenous people work hard and make very little money. We have 43 indigenous villages in Cotacachi and they are at the poverty level. They do grow food; have chickens and usually a pig and cow. Entire families live in small homes.

God Bless and thank you for sharing whatever you can.  You can see what were starting with in the photo below.

It is a blessing to be able to make a difference in these young children’s lives. Things are shaping up at the school, little by little. For those of you who can’t come and do the work, please seriously consider donating dinero (money).

God bless,
Terri

Hi Micky, On our last trip to Ecuador October 2010, we had the pleasure of visiting the school you are helping. Many of us realized the value of the work you are doing and are trying to help out in many ways. It is so good to have the new toilet facilities done for the children and now the lunch room in underway.
Bless you and all the others who are helping!
Julia
